Alhamdulillah, Masjid ibn Baaz in Kampala, Uganda is nearing completion. By Allah's grace and through the generous support of our donors, the project has moved into its final stage.
Two important items are already complete: the tiles (£212) and lighting (£106). The remaining costed works are the sisters' partition (£424), office finishing (£530), and painting (£636). These three outstanding works total £1,590.
The masjid also still requires 500 Qur'ans; no cost was stated for these, so the £1,590 figure represents the total remaining for the three priced construction and finishing items only.

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
Every contribution brings us closer to opening the doors and completing this house of Allah. Once finished, Masjid ibn Baaz will provide a dedicated place for the local community to gather for daily prayers, Jumu'ah and worship.
This campaign remains active. Funds raised from this update will help complete the remaining works and provide Qur'ans for the masjid, in sha Allah. May Allah accept from everyone who has supported the project and make it a lasting sadaqah jariyah.
