These terms and conditions govern your use of the Love Hope Relief website and any donation you make through it. By browsing the site or giving to an appeal, you accept these terms in full.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies to you.

You may use this website for lawful purposes only — to learn about our work, to donate, to apply to volunteer or fundraise, and to contact us.

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.
• Do not submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through our forms.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape, overload or disrupt the site.

We aim to keep the site available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend it for maintenance without notice.

Processing. Donations are taken through regulated third-party payment providers. A donation is complete once payment has been authorised and you have received confirmation from us.

Use of funds. We apply donations to the fund or appeal you selected. Where an appeal is fully funded or circumstances on the ground make delivery impossible, we will redirect your gift to the closest comparable programme so that it still reaches people in need.

Refunds. Donations are gifts and are not usually refundable. If you have donated in error, made a duplicate payment or entered the wrong amount, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it where the funds have not already been committed in the field.

Recurring giving. Monthly donations continue until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing us or through your bank or card provider. Cancellations take effect from the next scheduled payment, provided we receive them at least three working days beforehand.

Gift Aid. Gift Aid can only be claimed if you are a UK taxpayer and have made a valid declaration. You must tell us if you stop paying enough tax, change your name or address, or wish to cancel the declaration.

All content on this website — text, photographs, logos, graphics, video and page design — belongs to Love Hope Relief or is used with permission. You may share and quote our content for personal, educational or non-commercial purposes with clear attribution. You may not reproduce it commercially, or use our name or logo to raise funds, without our written consent.

When you submit an enquiry, volunteer application, fundraising registration or feedback form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to share it.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory or that infringes anyone else's rights. We may refuse or remove any submission and decline any application at our discretion.

Our site may link to external websites, and our donation process relies on third-party payment providers. We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of any external site. Following an external link is at your own risk, and the terms of that site will apply once you leave ours.

The information on this website is provided in good faith and for general information. Programme figures, costs and photographs are accurate at the time of publication but may change as circumstances on the ground change.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Personal information you provide is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, and cookies used on this site are described in our Cookie Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this website.
