Why It Matters

In the communities we serve, Ramadan arrives on top of existing hunger. Families fast all day and open with tea and dry bread, if anything at all.

Food prices rise sharply in the weeks before Ramadan, pushing basic staples out of reach exactly when households need them most.

Children, pregnant mothers and manual labourers feel this hardest — fasting without proper nutrition at iftar and suhoor takes a lasting toll on health.

Our Response

We fund community kitchens and mosque-based iftars that serve a hot, balanced meal every evening of the month — rice or bread, protein, vegetables and dates to open the fast.

Where communal gatherings are not practical, we deliver iftar packs directly to households, prioritising widows, orphan families and the elderly.

“Whoever gives iftar to a fasting person will have a reward like his, without any reduction in the fasting person's reward.”

Provide Iftar This Ramadan

Iftar donations are spent within days of arriving so meals reach families during the blessed month itself.
