What's Happening

Every week our teams meet families whose emergency does not match a running appeal: a house fire, a sudden bereavement leaving no earner, a family stranded far from home.

These cases are small in cost and enormous in consequence. A few hundred pounds released quickly can keep a family together and prevent months of destitution.

Because they arrive without warning, they can only be met from a fund that is already in place.

Our country teams hold a small verified caseload at any time. Each case is documented, assessed against need rather than category, and signed off before funds are released.

We report back on how the fund was used each quarter, so donors can see the individual families their giving reached.
